The Sellwoods

Mary Kay (Autoproduccion Ep)
Palm Reader  (Autoproduccion Single)

Melissa Rose ENGLISH TRANSLATION: It seems that Portland is a hotbed of bands after the surprise that meant listening to The Pynnacles, No Tomorrow Boys, Thee Four Teens or Lovesores, among others, have to make space for this trio. The Blind Baron (Guitar, Theremin and vocals), Viking bass and percussion and the Baroness on drums and vocals. They have two ep's self-produced and laden garage punk genuine. The first ep was recorded in Fetish Pop Studios in February 2013 and contains a future classic in the genre "Mary Kay" going to fuzz laden eyes on four chords sound as raw as a ribeye served his own blood. The instrumental "Sonic Blues" away to flaunt virtuosity shows a band with total dedication. "Mini Skirt Mob" also amazed instrumental format with a "theremin" invoking the spirit of Joe Meek. To close with a version of "I'm movin 'On" Florida band The Evil theme that was recovered last year by single seals Limestone Recordings Archive Records and Florida to cover by our friend Darren Merinuk and Sellwoods argue that like the original creators of the theme. The only down side of this single is the cover made from cuts is offset by Martian green vinyl.

The second single has only two own songs, a basic "Palm Reader" with fuzz continuous explosion, moving between the phrasing of the four strings and unperturbed pace of drums gives way to "Devil's Dagger" also in key Martian instrumental and end all wrapped in a nice cover signed by Jens Olaf.
